CAMEX celebrated 10 years of tradition at Brasov. During May 25-28 2011 CAMEX reunited at "Brasov Business Park" Exposition Center construction companies from all over the country. Among these there were the Romanian leaders of construction industry, some of them with a tradition of over 9 years at CAMEX events.
The 10th edition of CAMEX Brasov ensured the necessary environment in order for the specialists to update their information and offered the companies new opportunities to communicate and expand their businesses. CAMEX Brasov offered the visitors the possibility to find out how to build in 2011 and how to invest efficiently in qualitative raw materials at a fair price as well.
CAMEX Brasov transmitted, as every year, the message of constructors from Transilvania. Regional Forum in Constructions "Construct Week" 2011, the second event of the anniversary edition CAMEX, gathered, on May 26 2011, over 100 participants, constructors, architects and urbanists from the center of the country, representatives of the academic environment and public administration, as well as important companies such as Saint – Gobain GLASS, Saint – Gobain RIGIPS, Saint – Gobain ISOVER, Adeplast, Dexion and Blom.
The Regional Architecture an Urbanism Conference within "Construct week Brasov 2011" brought into debate themes related to the professional environment of architects and urbanists, but also for the large audience, like: Architecture and Urbanism Competitions vs Public Auctions, Solutions for glass applications, High sound power insulation systems, Modern solutions for the rehabilitation of old buildings and with seismic risk, New legislative demands and solutions for mansard roofs, "The Library of oblique images" - a revolutionary product, Intelligent solutions for storage and archiving.
The urbanist Pietro Elisei had spoken at Construct Week Brasov 2011 about the about the contemporary urban transformations, comparing actual examples from projects developed in Romania and Italy, during the latest years. The message of Pietro Elisei refered to the need of new urban policies, in the context of regional sustenable development.
Special guests of CAMEX Brasov 2011 events were: Urb. Pietro ELISEI, Italy - Guest of Regional and Tourism Development Minister, Arch. Johannes BERTLEFF, vicepresident of Architects Order of Romania and Arch. Arh. Nicolae TARIC, president of Architects Order of Romania, Brasov – Harghita – Covasna Branch.
