"This conference is an opportunity for the business environment to learn what saving energy means and how one can obtain it. Both the European Parliament and the European Council has issued several directions regarding the energetic performance of the buildings. As members of the European Union, we are obliged to respect them and to adapt the national legislation to these directions and then to respect this legislation. First of all, this can be done through thermal rehabilitation and thermal rehabilitation of indoor installations of the dwellings. The house buildings, especially the so-called "condominium", are the biggest energy consumers from all the energy consumers in a country. Our legislation obliges one, with new buildings, at the moment of their auhorization, to request at the end of the construction the issuing of a energetic performance certificate, that testifies whether the building is energetically efficient or not. At a complete thermal rehabilitation of a building, of the envelope and of the installations, one can save up to 50% if the person knows how to exploit the house rationally."

"The presentation refers to pasive houses, Multi-Comfort House, a concept that ISOVER develops at present. It will be a presentation about houses with low thermal energy consumption. Nowadays, reducing thermal energy consumption is of high-interest, that is why, ISOVER and the Institute for Passive Houses in Darmstadt, Germany, develops this Multi-Comfort House concept. Technically these houses, besides low energy consumption, also have low carbon dioxide emissions, which can lead to less pollution to the environment."
